The ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s assistant undersecretary Hisham Bin Abdel Monein Saeed recently confirmed that there is no certain age requirement for children who are accompanied by their families to perform holy prayers at the two Holy Mosques. He further stated that the ministry has imposed certain restriction for issuing permits to only children being under or over 5 years of age concerning carrying out Umrah and praying at the Al-Rawdah Sharfia. The Hajj and Umrah assistant Saeed further stated that people who are interested in performing Umrah can gain their permits through “Tawakkalna” app and “Eatamarna” app as the applications facilitate certain organizational management processes and help in understanding the absorptive capacity while improving the digital experience concerning Umrah pilgrims. 
 
Furthermore the people who have not undergone immunization or received any COVID 19 vaccination can now enter the Prophet’s Mosque and Grand Mosque (Kaaba) and carryout their Umrah under certain condition that they have not been infected by coming into contact with people who have previously been infected or have been confirmed with infection of coronavirus.
 

Removal of Corona Vaccination Requirements:

The ministry of Hajj and Umrah had previously announced to lift various precautionary measures concerning the Two Holy Mosques. People who wish to visit Al Rawdah Sarifa of Prophet Muhammad in the city of Madina and carryout Umrah have to obtain permits. The pilgrims who wish to arrive in the Saudi Arabia country also do not need to register for their immunization status for gaining Umrah permit. All pilgrims who arrive in the Prophet’s Mosque and Grand Mosque do not need to apply any social distancing anymore but they are still required to wear facemasks.
