The Ministry of Religious Affairs has recently announced important updates for the Hajj 2025 scheme, including deadlines for submitting the second installment of Hajj dues and also few important policies that are designed to make the Hajj process smoother for hajj pilgrims. Second Installment Deadline for Hajj 2025

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced the 2nd installment deadline for hajj 2025 along with the required total amount/ cost of the government Hajj scheme 2nd installment. We have provided this information in the form of key points below:

  • 2nd Installment Submission Period: submit your 2nd installment from 19th December 2024 to 27th December 2024.
  • Amount to Submit: 400,000 as the second installment of the Hajj dues.
  • Banks for Payment: Pilgrims can deposit their dues in any of the 15 designated banks across Pakistan.
  • Importance of Deadline: Only those who complete their second installment by the provided deadline will be considered successful applicants for Hajj 2025.

Hajj 2nd Installment & Additional Cost

Under the Government Hajj 2025 policy, pilgrims will were asked to submit Rs. 200,000 along with their Hajj application and now they are required to deposit Rs. 400,000 (as second installment) whereas, the remaining government Hajj scheme 2025 payment will be paid by 10th February 2025. Additional costs for the optional facilities during the hajj will be collected with the 2nd Installment and their details have been provided below:

Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also announced the refund and cancellation options for pilgrims but if they cancel their Hajj application their amount will be refunded but after the deduction of specific cost. Details have been given below:

  • Cancellation before Final Installment, Rs. 50,000 will be deducted from the first installment. And Rs. 200,000 will be deducted if the second installment is not completed.
  • No Refunds after 10th February 2025. After the final payment deadline, no refunds will be issued.

Special Seats & Compensation for Deceased Pilgrims

Under the Hajj 2025 Scheme, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has also announced the reservation of seats for the specific age group and low income people, also the compensation for the family of deceased pilgrims have been increased:

  • The government has increased compensation for the heirs of deceased pilgrims from 1 million to Rs. 2 million under the revised Hajj policy.
  • Hardship Cases: A total of 1,000 seats have been reserved for applicants with exceptional circumstances.
  • Laborers and Low-Income Workers: 300 seats are allocated for workers registered under the Employees Old-Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) or the Workers Welfare Fund.

All wishful pilgrims are advised to complete their Hajj package second installment on within remaining and prepare their final payment before the 10th February deadline.
