Travel Needs
Passport with Visa Documents
You will be required to hand over your passport when you arrive in Saudi Arabia and get it back before leaving.
Vaccination Proof
All pilgrims who intend to visit Saudi Arabia are supposed to have a valid certificate of vaccination against quadrivalent A, C, Y and W135 meningococcal meningitis and also be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Depending on the residence country, you might still be supposed to carry a vaccine certificate against yellow fever or polio.
Passport Sized Photos
Carry at least 4 extra photographs with you to Saudi Arabia. You never know when they may be needed for document preparation and procedures along the way.
Saudi Riyals
A minimum of about 450 riyals, which will comfortably enable you to cover your initial costs upon arrival in Saudi Arabia until you familiarize yourselves with getting your money exchanged locally.
