United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) comes with the 4th edition of its Travel Restrictions Worldwide Due to Covid-19. On May 18th, 2020 the U.N. special agency’s findings were assembled from 217 countries from across the world. It has seen that 3 percent of destinations across the globe offered ease in travelling restrictions that were enforced due to coronavirus.
 
There is 7 percent of destinations found that offered ease in restriction for international tourism. However, many other World Tourist Destinations 2020 are under the discussion of the reopening of borders.

What Is the Global Report of Travel Reopening?

According to the latest report shown by the UN Tourism Organization, UNWTO, 100 percent of destinations throughout the world are undergoing restrictions because of increasing coronavirus cases in world. 
 
 
75 percent of destinations are still undergoing a complete closure of international tourism. 37 percent of destinations would remain closed for at least the coming 10 weeks.

Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili said that easing in traveling restrictions on time would ensure several economic and social benefits. 
 
The Report about the Small Islands Developing States (SIDS) comes with the fact that 85 percent of states will completely remain closed for tourism. In all UNWTO regions, over 65 percent of destinations would also remain closed completely and no traveling activities would happen there.

UNWTO’s Global Guidelines to Restart Tourism:

The World Tourism Organization, UNWTO comes up with Global Guidelines or coronavirus Tips to Restart Tourism to help to promote tourism under the pandemic. UNWTO confirms that due to restrictions the International Tourism Rate could fall between 60 and 80 percent. These guidelines are for the purpose to address both the governments and the businesses or World Tourism Industry to take necessary measures for tourism reopening in a safe and responsible manner, said Mr. Pololikashvili.
