Islamabad, Pakistan – In a move to bolster tourism and business ties, the Government of Pakistan has officially introduced a streamlined Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA) category for citizens of 126 countries. This initiative, designed to simplify the visa application process, makes visiting Pakistan more accessible and convenient than ever before.
The e-Visa system allows travelers to apply online and receive their visa approval before arriving in the country. With this program, Pakistan aims to promote tourism, encourage business activities, and create a more welcoming environment for international visitors.
The initiative has been launched through the online platform visa.nadra.gov.pk, making it accessible to eligible applicants worldwide. Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) manages the platform, ensuring a secure and efficient application experience.
The government highlighted its commitment to making Pakistan a more tourist-friendly destination and fostering business collaborations globally. The introduction of the e-Visa is a significant step in achieving this goal. Officials have stated that they are eager to make visitors' experiences "unforgettable" and encourage travelers to explore Pakistan’s rich culture, heritage, and natural beauty.
