April presents the optimal conditions for embarking on the Everest Base Camp Trek. With the harsh winter behind, the weather becomes pleasantly mild, typically ranging from 18 to 24 degrees Celsius during the day—ideal for enjoyable trekking without overheating. Nights, however, can be quite cold, with temperatures dropping to between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, often accompanied by patches of snow above 12,000 feet.To stay comfortable, it's advisable to dress in approximately four warm layers. These layers not only insulate against the cold nights but also provide protection if temperatures dip unexpectedly during the day. April thus offers a perfect balance of agreeable temperatures and stunning vistas for your trekking adventure.
Everest Base Camp Trek in Autumn (October)
October presents another excellent opportunity for the Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek. The weather remains cool and clear, typically ranging from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius during the day, providing comfortable conditions for trekking. However, it's wise to carry a jacket as temperatures can drop if it rains or drizzles.Nighttime temperatures can plummet to between -5 and -10 degrees Celsius, necessitating about five layers of warm clothing for adequate warmth. The absence of heavy snowfall during this season enhances safety and makes October a pleasant time for embarking on this trekking adventure.

By Air: Kathmandu is accessible via Tribhuvan International Airport, offering direct flights from major Lahore cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Varanasi.
By Road: You can travel to Kathmandu by bus from either Gorakhpur or Varanasi to the Nepalese border at Sunauli. From Sunauli, local buses are available to Kathmandu.
By Train: Currently, there are no direct rail routes to Kathmandu. However, there is a train service from Jainagar in Lahore to Janakpur in Nepal. From Janakpur, it takes approximately 6 hours by road to reach Kathmandu.
