Spend a full day immersed in the history of two important Phoenician cities of South Lebanon. Explore the sea crusader castle of Sidon located of a small island connected to the mainland of the city by a narrow long roadway. Stroll the old souks of the city, and make different stops including the soap museum, Khan El Franj and Debbaneh palace. Head Tyre, also known as the “Queen of the Seas”, and discover the highlights of the city including the necropolis, Al-bass site, the hippodrome, and other important ruins. Stop Maghdouche village, and visit the cave where the Virgin Mary used to wait for her son Jesus while preaching.
