Upon your arrival, a transfer will be arranged from the airport to your hotel, where you can check-in and embark on your journey exploring the wonders of Turkey.

Day 2 - Istanbul Old City Tour

Explore the wonders of Istanbul with our Old City Tour. Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a journey into the heart of the city. Delve into history with visits to iconic landmarks such as the Blue Mosque, adorned with obelisks from different eras, and the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia, a testament to cultural exchange over the centuries. Step into the opulent world of the Ottoman sultans at Topkapi Palace before immersing yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the Grand Bazaar, a paradise for shopping enthusiasts unlike anything found in the West.

As the tour concludes, we recommend extending your exploration with a visit to the Spice Bazaar, where you can indulge in the sights and aromas of Turkish tea, spices, and sweets. While this excursion is not included in your tour package, you'll have ample free time to explore at your own pace before making your way back to your hotel.

The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays.
Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays.
Entrance to the Blue Mosque is limited on Fridays due to prayers, therefore Friday visits are unavailable.

Day 3 - Gallipoli Battlefields

Today marks a significant journey as you depart from Istanbul en route to Gallipoli. Commencing early, your path leads you to Eceabat, where you'll relish a delightful lunch amidst the picturesque Turkish scenery. Following this, your itinerary unfolds towards the historic Battlefields of Gallipoli, where the ANZAC troops, comprising Australian, New Zealand, and various other Allied forces, confronted the Ottoman Army's soldiers. Immerse yourself in a museum that sheds light on the origins of this conflict. Amidst the remnants of the battlefield, some areas bear monuments honoring those who perished on both sides, while others remain untouched, preserving the trenches as poignant reminders of the fierce battles fought on this hallowed ground.

Day 4 - Troy & Pergamon

Early this morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel for an exploration of the ancient cities of Troy and Pergamon.

Troy, steeped in Greek mythology and folklore, awaits your visit. Here, you'll marvel at the iconic Trojan Horse, ancient sacrificial altars, residential structures, and the historic Bouleuterion (Senate Building), Odeon, and remarkably preserved city walls dating back 3,700 years.

Following a satisfying lunch, your journey continues to the ancient city of Pergamon. As you traverse the city center, highlights include the imposing Acropolis, once home to a grand library boasting 200,000 books, the majestic Temple of Athena, the Temple of Trajan, and the impressive Gymnasium. Pergamon's rich cultural landscape is further adorned with remnants such as the lower Agora, Hellenistic Theatre, and the enduring Temple of Dionysus.

Upon evening's arrival, you'll be comfortably settled into your accommodation at a hotel in Ephesus (Selcuk or Kusadasi) for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Ephesus and surrounding Highlights

Today, you're in for a journey through time as you explore the remarkably well-preserved ancient city of Ephesus. Once a bustling coastal metropolis bustling with traders, devout worshippers, and intellectuals, Ephesus now stands miles away from the sea, its ancient harbor still a testament to its former glory.

Within the city's confines, a diverse array of structures awaits your discovery - from humble residences and bustling marketplaces to majestic public baths and even remnants of its once-vibrant brothels. The renowned Library of Celsus, a former hub of intellectual pursuit, now stands as a weathered facade, hinting at its former magnificence.

Your excursion also includes visits to two iconic religious sites: the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage destination year-round, and the Temple of Artemis. Though the latter lies in ruins, its imposing base and towering columns offer glimpses of its past grandeur and distinctive architecture.

After your explorations, settle in for the night in the charming Ephesus region, choosing between the towns of Selcuk or Kusadasi for your accommodation.

Day 6 - Pamukkale

Transfer from Ephesus to Pamukkale After breakfast this morning, you'll begin your journey to Pamukkale, accompanied by a visit to the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. Pamukkale, also known as the 'Cotton Castle', boasts stepped pools filled with mineral-rich water that have formed white walls resembling soft cotton from a distance. Nearby, Hierapolis, an ancient city that flourished due to its perceived healing waters, awaits exploration.

Transfer from Pamukkale to Fethiye Upon concluding your visit, your next destination is the picturesque harbor town of Fethiye. Upon arrival at your hotel in the evening, your tour formally concludes, yet Fethiye remains open for your further discovery and exploration.
