Itinerary

Day 1 - Paris - Lucerne

After boarding the luxury coach in Paris, relax and soak in the stunning views of the quintessential French countryside as you travel towards the majestic Swiss mountains.Your journey will take you through Basel, a city where the borders of Switzerland, France, and Germany converge. From there, you'll continue to the charming lakeside city of Lucerne, situated at the base of the snow-capped Swiss Alps. If time permits, you'll have the opportunity to explore, shop, or capture some memorable photos.

Day 2 - Lucerne Milan Venice

Travel south from Lucerne through the breathtaking Swiss landscape and into northern Italy, where your first destination will be Milan, the global fashion capital. On your orientation tour, you'll be introduced to Milan's iconic landmarks, including the majestic Gothic cathedral (Duomo). You'll also visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the world's oldest shopping mall, where you can browse boutique shops and enjoy lunch at one of its elegant cafés.After experiencing the charm of Milan, you'll continue to another historic Italian gem: Venice.

Day 3 - Venice Rome

Spend the morning exploring the enchanting city of Venice with a knowledgeable local guide. Begin your adventure with a scenic waterbus ride across the lagoon to San Marco Island, where you'll be greeted by the city's iconic spires and distinctive waterside buildings. On the island, your guide will take you through some of Venice's most famous sights, starting at the Piazza with the Basilica di San Marco, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture.You'll also visit the renowned Bridge of Sighs, a historic landmark that connects the old prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge’s Palace, frequently featured on postcards and in photographs of Venice.Next, witness traditional Venetian craftsmanship with a live demonstration by Murano glassblowers, whose exquisite creations make perfect souvenirs. To top off your Venetian experience, take an optional gondola ride through the city's intricate waterways—a truly unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to Rome.

Day 4 - Rome Vatican Arezzo

Your day in Rome begins with a visit to the Vatican City, the world's smallest independent state, nestled in the heart of the Italian capital. Here, you'll marvel at St. Peter’s Basilica, the residence of Pope Francis and one of Christianity's most sacred sites. This stunning basilica, nearly 1,700 years old, boasts an impressive array of paintings, frescoes, and designs by some of history’s greatest artists. You can also opt for a tour of the Sistine Chapel to view Michelangelo’s iconic painted ceiling.Following your time at the Vatican, you'll explore some of Rome’s most famous landmarks. Start with the Colosseum, built in AD 72, and imagine the grandeur of ancient gladiatorial combat in this remarkable amphitheater. Nearby, admire the Arch of Constantine, a monumental triumphal arch from the fourth century AD.To round off your Roman experience, visit the majestic Victor Emmanuel II National Monument, also known as the Reunification Memorial Hall. This monument honors King Victor Emmanuel II, who played a key role in the unification of Italy. In the afternoon, you'll head to Florence, renowned as the cradle of culture.

Day 5 - Arezzo Florence Pisa Genoa

Your journey of cultural discovery continues as you explore Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and a treasure trove of exquisite architecture and fine art. Start your day with breathtaking panoramic views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can admire the red-tiled roofs, the Arno River, and the ancient city walls, all set against the backdrop of the surrounding countryside.Next, experience a demonstration of traditional leather crafting in a local workshop. You'll have the chance to purchase some of Florence’s renowned high-quality leather goods. Following this, enjoy a guided walk through Florence’s iconic landmarks, including the Ponte Vecchio spanning the Arno River, the Piazza del Duomo, and the Campanile Tower.As you pass by the Uffizi Gallery, home to one of Florence’s most distinguished art collections, you'll have some free time to further explore the city. This is a great opportunity to shop, savor a coffee at a street-side café, or simply soak in the atmosphere.Your next stop will be Pisa, where you'll have the chance to take in the iconic Leaning Tower, part of the famed “Square of Miracles,” which also features the centuries-old Cathedral and Baptistery. Afterward, you’ll travel to a nearby city for an overnight stay in Genoa.Please note that while we will stay near Genoa, we will not be visiting the city itself.

Day 6 - Genoa Monaco Nice Cannes Avignon

Get ready for a breathtaking drive along one of Europe’s most renowned Mediterranean coastlines as you bid farewell to Italy and make your way to Monaco in the afternoon. This tiny principality, famous for hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix, offers a wealth of sights. On a walking tour, you'll visit the opulent Prince’s Palace and have some free time to immerse yourself in its refined ambiance. The tour will also take you to the 1920s Courthouse, the Cliffside Oceanographic Museum, and the Cathedral, where Grace Kelly is laid to rest.As you journey through the southern region of France, known for its perfume production, you'll pass through a town famous for its fragrant creations. Here, you'll have the chance to tour a perfume factory and select your favorite scents.Next, you’ll head to Nice for a delightful lunch, enjoying the city’s excellent local cuisine and warm hospitality. Then, continue to Cannes, where you can snap photos of the Palais des Festivals, the iconic venue of the city’s annual international film festival. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a nearby city, though please note that Avignon itself will not be visited.

Day 7 - Avignon Paris

Relax and take in the stunning rural scenery of the French countryside as you make your way north to Paris. Enjoy a well-deserved break while you admire the diverse landscapes on this picturesque journey.
