4-Day Greece Highlights Tour: Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi and Meteora
Explore the glory of ancient Greece with this four day classical tour from Athens. With this unique tour visit and enjoy five UNESCO'S world heritage sites
Absolutely fantastic. Marianna and Lucas truly enhanced our trip with their warmth and expertise. Marianna's extensive knowledge of the area and its history brought our tour to life, making it an unforgettable experience. Her attentive care throughout was truly appreciated.
Thanks to them, we were able to explore numerous breathtaking destinations that we might have missed on our own. The accommodations were delightful, and Lucas, our skilled driver, ensured our safety and took excellent care of our belongings.
Our time in Greece was made all the more memorable thanks to their efforts. We highly recommend this trip for anyone eager to discover more than just Athens!
The Delphi Hotel fell far short of expectations. Despite booking the tourist class, the experience was disappointing - from the quality of the food and the rooms to the overall standard. However, its location was a redeeming factor. It's worth mentioning that only those in the tourist class had the privilege of exploring the town and indulging in shopping; those opting for the resort option were secluded.
The influx of 30 additional people post-visit to Delphi caused chaos, particularly for those who had to switch accommodations midway through the trip. This sudden change also created a sense of distance among the group.
The brief stops at the Corinth Canal and Naupalia left much to be desired. There was hardly any time allocated, not even for basic needs like using the restroom, let alone exploring the sites.
Due to government regulations, onboard bus bathrooms were off-limits, necessitating alternative stops.
The stop at Thermophylae proved underwhelming. Visitors barely had time to glimpse at a statue, let alone explore further, read inscriptions, or appreciate the historical battleground.
It's imperative that travelers are informed about the dress code for monasteries prior to the trip. While I was fortunate to have some knowledge, the lack of clarity on specifics such as 'trousers' led to some unpreparedness. The requirement is simply to cover arms and legs (excluding men in women's monasteries).
Special mention goes to Angela and John (Αγγελική and Γιάννης), who truly enhanced the experience with their expertise, flexibility, and warmth.
An amazing experience! Very informative and a great way to see all of the mentioned highlights with minimal travel time. Would recommend.
