After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your exploration of Athens begins. The half-day sightseeing tour starts at the Acropolis and continues to Omonia Square, with a photo stop at the Panathenaic Stadium.
You’ll then pass by the Athens Trilogy, including the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. The tour will also take you by the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), the Catholic Cathedral, the Old Parliament, Constitution Square, and the Russian Orthodox Church.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, where you'll explore the iconic symbols of classical spirit and civilization, representing the pinnacle of Greek architectural and artistic heritage.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel for a two-day tour to Delphi and Meteora, where you'll explore some of the most renowned sites on the Greek mainland. As we travel through the picturesque regions of Boeotia, Thebes, and Levadia, our first destination is Delphi, revered by the Ancient Greeks as the center of the earth and universe. Known for its theatre, the Temple of Apollo, and its ancient ruins, Delphi was considered the navel of the world and held a crucial role in classical Greek culture.
Explore the archaeological site and the Temple of Apollo, renowned for its oracle. In the afternoon, we'll journey to Kalambaka, crossing the Thessalian plain and passing through Lamia (with a brief stop) and Trikala. Kalambaka, a charming town nestled at the base of the stunning Meteora rock formations, offers a short stop for souvenirs.You'll stay overnight in Kalambaka, ready to continue your exploration.
This morning, we set out for Meteora, where we'll embark on a tour of its stunning cliff-top monasteries. We'll visit two Byzantine monasteries, dramatically perched atop towering rock formations, offering breathtaking views over the surrounding plain.
Meteora is a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its monasteries, which have stood atop sandstone pillars, providing monks with inaccessible retreats for centuries. This area is celebrated as one of the most picturesque spots on the Greek mainland, and its collection of monasteries is among the country’s most distinctive attractions.
On our return journey, there’s an optional stop at a factory specializing in Byzantine-style icons. We’ll also pause briefly for photos at the heroic monument of Leonidas, King of Sparta, at Thermopylae.
