Upon arrival, we delve into its rich heritage, marveling at landmarks such as the Royal Palace of Morocco, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the iconic Hassan Tower, and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas. In the afternoon, we venture towards Chefchaouen, famously known as the Blue City. Nestled against majestic mountains, every corner of this town is adorned in various shades of blue - from doors and steps to window sills and flower stands, casting a spellbinding aura. Perched on the hillside, some accommodations may require a brief stroll as larger buses might not have access. Our lodging is conveniently situated within the vicinity of this picturesque mountain retreat. Accommodation: Parador /Preuta/ Jibal 3-4 star or similar
Meals: Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant; Lunch & Dinner featuring delectable local cuisine.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen - Fes

Like entering a scene from the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, our afternoon unfolds amidst the ancient streets of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and a pivotal stop along the historic Silk Road, bridging Africa and Europe. Our journey will lead us through a mosaic of experiences, from a visit to a ceramic workshop to the grandeur of the palace's main gate, the renowned Al Quaraouiyine University — the world's oldest university — the solemn Mausoleum of Idris II, and the vibrant Nejjarine Square. Amidst the millennia-old leather tanneries, where rows of colorful dyeing vats stand sentinel, skilled artisans practice their craft with bare hands, preserving Morocco's rich tradition of craftsmanship.

A reminder: Fez's labyrinthine old city has earned the reputation of being one of the most easily navigable cities in the world, hence the presence of a knowledgeable local guide to ensure an enriching exploration and safe exit. It's advisable for guests not to venture alone.

Our base: L’escale Hotel, a refined 4-star accommodation, or a similar option.

Meals:

Breakfast: Served at the hotel's restaurant
Lunch & Dinner: Indulge in the flavors of local cuisine, offering a delicious immersion into Moroccan gastronomy.

Day 4 : Fes - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Nestled within a serene valley, Volubilis stands as Morocco's paramount archaeological treasure, designated as a UNESCO site in 1997. With a tapestry of history woven through its ancient remains and exquisitely preserved mosaic art, it offers a glimpse into a diverse past. Our journey then leads us to Meknes, the youngest yet most modest of Morocco's four imperial cities, recognized by UNESCO in 1996. Known as the 'City of Many Gates,' it boasts formidable ancient city walls and the iconic 'Mansour Gate,' a symbol of conquest and glory. Our itinerary includes a visit to the tomb of Moulay Ismail, the illustrious second ruler of the Alawite dynasty, and an exploration of the historic city quarter.

Accommodation: L’escale Hotel 4* or similar
Meals: Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant; Lunch and Dinner featuring local cuisine.

Day 5 : Fes - Merzouga

Today marks the beginning of an extraordinary and legendary journey! The allure of the desert is simply captivating; this is the same Sahara that inspired Sanmao, the renowned Chinese writer, and also resonates with the essence of The Little Prince. Step into this realm and craft your own tale amidst the sands of the Sahara. Upon reaching the opulent tents nestled in the desert, embark on camelback rides and immerse yourself in the embrace of rose-hued sand dunes. As night falls, revel in the camaraderie of fellow travelers at the campfire soirée orchestrated by the tent proprietor, where melodies, dances, and celestial wonders await.

Please note: The accommodations in the desert encampment boast standard hotel amenities.

During the intense heat of summer (July to August) and the chilly embrace of winter (November to January), when the weather proves extreme, we will not sojourn in desert tents. Instead, our group will find respite in a desert hotel, such as the esteemed Yasmina Kasbah 4* or an equivalent establishment.

Reference Accommodation: Royal Oasis / Azword Luxury camp in the desert or a similar alternative (except during winter & summer). Breakfast will be served at the hotel's restaurant, while lunch and dinner will feature delectable local cuisine.

Day 6 : Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate

Did you catch the sunrise in the desert this morning? Following breakfast, your journey will lead you through the enchanting Rose Valley towards the Todra River Gorges. Enclosed by verdant palm trees and towering rugged mountains, the landscape exudes an air of mystery, reminiscent of tales like "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves". Next stop: Ouarzazate, perhaps unfamiliar by name but undoubtedly recognizable from numerous Hollywood productions. Dubbed "African Hollywood," it seamlessly blends European charm with North African flair, establishing itself as a premier destination for Western cinema. Your accommodation: Hotel Club Hanane 4* or a comparable option.
Meals: Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, with lunch and dinner featuring local cuisine.

Day 7 : Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

Explore the iconic settings of cinematic masterpieces at ★Atlas Film Studios, where you can step into the Judgment Hall of "The Passion of the Christ" and wander by the ancient Egyptian temple from "The Mummy Returns". Not far off, the distant silhouette of a castle resembling a mirage is none other than the holy city depicted in "Kingdom of Heaven". Next, venture to ★Ait Benhaddou, hailed as the "most beautiful village in Morocco" and a quintessential representation of ancient Berber life, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. After this enriching visit, retreat to the vibrant "Red City" of Marrakech. As night falls, immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of ★Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Witness as the square comes to life under the glow of countless lights, with its myriad of small stalls adding an irresistible buzz to the city. Accommodation: Nassim Hotel 4* or similar
Meals: Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Lunch & Dinner featuring local cuisine.

Day 8 : Marrakech

Marrakech, renowned as the "Red City" (UNESCO 1985), stands as one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Nestled at the foothills of the majestic Atlas Mountains, it boasts red sandstone walls and historic architecture. Today's journey unveils the city's iconic landmarks, including the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa, exemplifying traditional Moroccan architecture and Moorish brilliance. Crafted by esteemed artisans from Andalusia and Fez, these structures showcase enduring elegance through intricate decorations. Additionally, you'll explore the enigmatic Majorelle Garden, a 20th-century marvel adorned with cacti, tropical flora, and captivating blue and Arabesque motifs. This oasis, once a private sanctuary of the late fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent, is a testament to exquisite design. Accommodation: Nassim Hotel 4* or similar
Meals: Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Lunch & Dinner featuring local cuisine.

Day 9 : Saturday Marrakech - El Jadida - Casablanca

Delve into the rich history of the Mazagan pirate city, occupying a compact 400m x 400m area, where Portuguese pirates made their final stand for a century, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape. Discover the storied Mazagan pirate's warehouse before venturing to the "Paris of North Africa," Casablanca. Stroll along the beach promenade, caressed by the sea breeze, and marvel at the majestic expanse of the blue Atlantic, beholding the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, a singular marvel as the only mosque worldwide built directly upon the sea. Continue your exploration of the city's treasures before concluding the day's adventures with a delightful dinner, followed by a return to the hotel around 19:00.
