Due to the large number of passengers traveling for religious purposes, such as the Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages, the route from Faisalabad to Jeddah can be particularly profitable. Because of its close proximity to Makkah and the ongoing demand for flights to these two Islamic holy cities, Jeddah provides a reliable source of income for the airline. The business community in Faisalabad, who are a significant center for the nation's textile industry, embraced this profitable and beneficial initiative.

In addition to this step, the return flights from Pakistan international airlines would also help Pakistani citizens who are living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for work or business purposes.

PIA Direct Flights to Jeddah from Faisalabad Details 

On Friday, August 3, 2024, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) conducted its first direct flight from Faisalabad to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Two flights would depart from Faisalabad each week, while in the first flight around 170 passengers on flight PK-763 were transported to Jeddah from Faisalabad.

According to the PIA Commercial officer, these direct flights would be beneficial for both pilgrims and corporate executives who come from Faisalabad and its surrounding areas. The Pakistan International Airlines officials highlighted that the new services are a part of their ongoing efforts to embrace and enhance customer convenience and improve connectivity for Faisalabad citizens.

The direct flight from Faisalabad to Jeddah through Pakistan International Airline (PIA) starts on Friday 2nd August 2024.
