The government of Pakistan comes with a new policy for international travelers going out of Pakistan on any international flight according to which the travelers must show a negative corona test before getting entered into Pakistan. The government orders to implement the policy from October 5th, 2020 onward. All the international travelers are required to share their contact information along with a negative corona test at the airport to get entrance permission into Pakistan. The test conducted 96 hours before traveling will be applicable.
Ways Of Monitoring The Travelers’ Information:
A Pass Track Application has also been introduced by the government that all the travelers will install on their mobile phones. Moreover, travelers are also required to fill a health declaration form before 48 hours of their arrival in the country.
What’s Upon Arrival?
Upon arrival, the coronavirus checkup of the passengers will be taken and they would be asked about their current health situation if they have any flu or cough. Passengers with corona symptoms will be required to isolate them for 14 days. However, passengers without corona symptoms will also be required to quarantine themselves for at least two weeks in their homes. People are also requested to avoid any non-essential travel. For any further inquiry, international travelers are also provided a helpline by the government that is accessible at 1166.
