Authorities of the Hajj ministry have revealed the registration date, requirements, and Hajj process related to the Hajj dates for the year 2025 which has come very near. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced the hajj applications for the Government Hajj scheme in the coming week under the new policy for the upcoming season.

As Per the new hajj government scheme candidates must fulfill certain requirements, such as having physical and mental health issues specified by Saudi legislation.

Candidates who were born before February 12, 2013, must require a medical certificate which is mandatory for them. Medical certificate forms are available for Pakistanis who are living abroad to download on the Ministry's website.


The Hajj expenses are projected between Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,175,000, Three installments will be utilized for completing the payment procedure. An initial payment of Rs. 200,000 must be made by applicants with their application. A second payment of Rs. 400,000 will be needed for individuals who were chosen in the lottery, and the full amount must be paid by February 10, 2025. 

The entire application process and fee submission are available online under the regular scheme, which makes it very simple for applicants across Pakistan to access. Women can now travel without a Mahram but must indicate their family status on the application.

The Hajj 2025 Application Process 

The following steps and criteria must be followed by applicants for the 2025 Hajj application procedure.

  • On December 6, 2024, a computerized lottery will be held for the government scheme's ultimate selection.
  • Application forms must be submitted within the deadline to be considered.
  • A current passport, vaccination records, and other required documentation must be submitted by applicants.
  • Payments must be made through the selected banks mentioned in the official guidelines, and fees must be paid as specified in the scheme.
  • Applications that are comprehensive and accurate will be disqualified.

Key Dates of Hajj Procedure

Priority will be given to first-time applicants under the regular scheme, and the draw is set for December 6.

A valid passport, proof of vaccinations, and the financial ability to pay for all required expenses according to the specified packages are essential requirements. It is recommended that applicants make sure that all required paperwork is completed and that the fees are submitted to the appropriate bank branches before the deadline.
